I am a life-long learner, seeker and nurturer. My foundational belief is that people have the internal ability to heal themselves from life’s inevitable injuries when they are given the compassion and support needed to thrive. When a person uncovers their inner strength, wisdom and courage, a little magic happens! I love to witness this transformation, and feel honored when I’m invited to be a part of it.  I work from a person-centered approach, and feel that each person is an expert on their own life. This approach helps create a genuine and accepting environment to help people grow and heal and flourish! Because I have been in the position of seeking therapy for myself, I know how daunting this process can feel! You’ll find a feeling of safe, non-judgmental, warm acceptance when we begin our work together. You might be surprised about how often laughter is part of this process! 

Family art projects are a passion of mine. I adore all modes of expression, but especially enjoy theatre, writing and multi-media creations. I love creating glass mosaics and collaborative painting with family and friends. My journey of expression through art is ongoing, and I hope it will never end! 

While Colorado is my original home, I now claim Arkansas as my home as well! Both of my homes have contributed to my deep appreciation of nature and being outside. You’ll most often find me outdoors during my free time, where I feel recharged and connected. Being near water heals me and restores me. Spending time strengthening my relationships with my kids and my friends is truly where my joy lies, and doing it outside is practically paradise!

I have a dual Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling. I am a licensed professional in the state of Arkansas, and have 8 years of clinical experience. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with people of all ages, with a diverse range of needs.

SLIDING FEE SCALE: My rate for 60 minutes is $160, but I do a couple of sliding-fee spots for those who can’t afford my full fee, offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

INSURANCE: I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and Ambetter insurances, and am happy to supply invoices for clients who would like to submit to other insurance providers.
