One of the most important things to me as a person and as a therapist is to be my whole, authentic self. We spend so much time curating an “image” these days that we don’t really connect with one another in deeper, more satisfying ways. It’s important to me to be my whole self so that you get to know the real me - that way, you can feel safe to explore YOUR real self, so you can explore what’s challenging you and reconnect with yourself and your happiness.

I consider myself a multi-faceted person, and some of who I am is in the photos on this page. Being from Chicago, I’m equally at home in a big city as I am outdoors. I spent much of my childhood camping and hiking, so moving to Arkansas four years ago was, literally, a breath of fresh air and has reconnected me with my love of nature. I’m very social person, but I’m equally at home cuddling with my dogs and my spouse, and cooking dinner in my kitchen. I also love to play and be creative - sports, games, toys, art, music - they all feed my soul in different ways, lift my spirits, and make me who I am.

In my practice, I use these different aspects of myself to connect with each and every client. I find when I can be my real, authentic self I do my best work, and my clients do, too. I work with common problems like stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues, but I specialize too. The LGBTQ community is close to my heart, so I do relationship counseling for same-sex couples, gender-identity and gender transition counseling, and I also work a lot with teens and young adults. Rates and Fees: $175 per 60-minute session.

Sliding Scale: I offer a couple of sliding-scale, out of pocket spots for folks who can’t pay the full fee. These are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Insurance: I am in network with BCBS, Ambetter, and Qualchoice insurances. If you like, I can also provide you with an invoice for out-of-network reimbursement from other insurance carriers.
