Cierra Denton, Practicum Student
Cierra is a counseling student at the University of Arkansas and is doing her practicum training here at the Bentonville Counseling Collective in the Winter/Spring of 2024. She will have limited availability, but we are happy to be able to offer sessions with Cierra at $20 per session.
From Cierra: “I am currently a second-year counseling student at the University of Arkansas seeking a master's degree in clinical mental health. I have a great passion for learning about the mind and body, but also a devotedness to connecting with people and promoting wellness through warmth and acceptance. My perspective is that social and systemic barriers can hold us back from achieving our goals, so my intention is to establish meaningful connections with my clients and to build a safe and inclusive space that allows us to work together and walk through the areas in need of further support.
I am dedicated to providing mental health counseling to anyone who may need it, but some specific areas of interest include anxiety, trauma, relationships, 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC identities, as well as adolescents and adults. Caring for people and being an avid listener have been in my practice ever since I can remember, so I will sit with you when you need it most and empower you during your healing journey.”
